At the Beach with Nestle Pure Life Water

At the Beach with Nestlé® Pure Life®

I feel lucky to live in Florida within driving distance of the beach.  There’s nothing quite as stress reducing as sinking your feet into the moist sand and watching the waves crash.

Going to the beach does take a little planning for me, because the beaches I go to don’t have any concession stands.  So if I want something to eat or drink, I have to pack it up ahead of time.  Of course, the salt air never fails to make me feel thirsty.

There are many choices out there for what I could drink, but I prefer to drink pure, cool water.  It’s the most refreshing thirst quencher that just feels right when I’m at the beach.  Plus, it’s a great way to stay hydrated.

You can pick up Nestlé® Pure Life® Water at your local Walmart just like I did.  It’s found in the bottled water aisle.

It’s important to stay hydrated.  A great tip from Robin Plotkin to stay prepared for hydration is to store bottled water in the freezer, ready to pack for your lunches or outings.  As it melts, the water will be ready when you are.  It’s also a good idea to talk about hydration as part of a healthy lifestyle with your family.  You can incorporate it into a chat about healthy lifestyle tips, like getting enough sleep, exercise, and following a healthy diet.  A survey* recently conducted by Nestlé® Pure Life®, found that drinking water is one of the biggest “healthy habit” struggles moms have with their kids (38%), even more than struggles like “eat your fruit” (29%), “get enough exercise” (23%), and “eat your breakfast” (19%).At the Beach with Nestle Pure Life Water On the Sand

You can learn more about keeping your family hydrated at pureliferippleeffect.com.  The Ripple Effect is an initiative to help establish good habits in childhood to encourage a healthy lifestyle for life.  You can even share your hydration tips using the hashtag #pureliferippleeffect.

As part of The Ripple Effect, Nestlé® Pure Life® has committed to provide nearly one million 8 ounce servings of water to kids at over 20 participating schools in select markets across the country this school year through After-School All-Stars.  Also, as a proud supporter of the Partnership for a Healthier America’s Drink Up initiative, Nestlé® Pure Life® is committed to helping families make healthier choices, starting with hydration.  You can keep up with all the latest hydration information with Nestlé® Pure Life® Water on Facebook.
