A Summer Treat to Cool You Off

I have mentioned before (in a post about sweet orange iced tea) that I love the heat and humidity of Florida.  A few readers clearly thought that I was bonkers, and commented so- in the nicest possible way, of course!

But I stand my ground and reiterate:  There’s nothing that makes me happier than a hot day with something cool to eat or drink.  Preferably outside, on my screened back porch or out in the yard, watching the citrus bob in the wind and the oak leaves rustle.

 

For today’s cool treat, I got to enjoy Fruttare^® frozen fruit bars, a very fruity kind of cooling-off treat for those warm afternoons in the summer.  They’re perfect for me because I’m a total fruit fanatic.  I sampled the Fruttare Black Cherry bars, and was very pleased to find out that they are incredibly refreshing!

Including the Black Cherry bars, there are eight different varieties of Fruttare^® frozen fruit bars:

The coconuts, bananas, and limes are sustainably sourced, so they’re definitely next on my list of flavors to try.  I think sustainable sourcing is pretty “cool”… if you’ll pardon the pun. It’s great to have a delicious summer refreshment option that’s made with really good ingredients.
