Gingerbread Run for Give Kids the World

GIVE KIDS THE WORLD VILLAGE GINGERBREAD RUN 5K is an annual event that celebrates the joys of childhood and inspires hope for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. It is a professionally timed race where participants can walk, run or roll through our 79-acre whimsical Village—past snoring trees, magic castles, the world’s largest CANDY LAND game and more.

One of my favorite charities is Give Kids the World, an organization that brings children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to Orlando to enjoy memorable, magical vacations.  The Give Kids the World Village hosts these special visitors in a whimsical setting designed to accommodate children with special needs.

On November 14, 2015, Give Kids the World is hosting the Gingerbread Run to raise funds to support their mission.  You don’t have to be a runner to help out.  Just head on over to the official Gingerbread Run page to donate.

If you miss the run, you can always donate to support Give Kids the World here.
