I was the guest of Mellow Mushroom for lunch to learn about their support of No Kid Hungry.  No other compensation was received.

Mellow Mushroom Supports No Kid Hungry

Restaurants around the country are helping to raise funds for No Kid Hungry this month to end childhood hunger.  If you’re in the mood for pizza, you should consider heading to your nearest Mellow Mushroom to enjoy a pie and make a difference!

I got to enjoy the House Special pizza (pictured above) and learn about how to contribute.

No Kid Hungry Mellow Mushroom

There are a couple of ways you can contribute to help No Kid Hungry.

  • You can snap a Mellow Mushroom moment and Instagram it with the hashtags #mellowcupcake and #nokidhungry, and a $3 donation will be made on your behalf.
  • You can also make a donation online at Mellow Mushroom’s No Kid Hungry site.  If you donate $10, you’ll get a free small cheese pizza, and if you donate $25 or more, you also get a limited edition t-shirt.

Remember, these special promotions only last through September- so don’t miss out!

What a great way to get involved in a very worthy cause.

This is such a great cause. We only have one “restaurant” (a frozen yogurt place) here in town participating, but I have already been exhorting people to go eat there! Now I wish we had a Mellow Mushroom!

We’re lucky- we used to have to drive 40 minutes to get to one. Now we have one 15 minutes away!

We frequent the local Mellow Mushroom quite often – great to hear they participate in such a worthwhile program 😀

My favorite is the House Special with no onions! Didn’t think I would like bacon on pizza, but I do.

Great cause and great to see Mellow Mushroom participating! They’re right down the street, so I’ll be sure to pop in at some point this month! Thanks for sharing!
