French yogurt is cultured in its own glass pot, creating a uniquely thick, creamy, and custard-like consistency. Get the details and find out where to buy.
What is French Yogurt, and Where Can I Buy It?
French yogurt is made using a traditional French recipe. It’s cultured in individual glass pots, and it has a uniquely thick and creamy texture.
Although it can be stirred, it’s best enjoyed without stirring so that the custard-like texture can be fully appreciated.
I picked up an assortment of French yogurt from Walmart. Oui by Yoplait is available in eight single-serve flavors and two multipack flavors. (“Oui” means “yes” in French, and is pronounced wee.)
When I enjoy a jar of Oui by Yoplait, I imagine myself ensconced on a chaise longue in a marble-floored flat in the heart of Paris, reading Les Liaisons Dangereuses in French, while the sounds of the city echo outside my window.
For a moment, I’m living the dream. Clearly, this yogurt was made with me in mind.
You can create your own moment by choosing any of these flavors to enjoy. I haven’t learned French quite yet, but that hasn’t stopped me from savoring my French yogurt daydreams.

Every flavor of this French yogurt is made with simple ingredients like whole milk, with no artificial flavors and no colors from artificial sources. Fruit flavors have real fruit on the bottom.
The plain flavor is made with just two ingredients: milk and cultures.
What I like best about Oui by Yoplait is that its subtle sweetness and fresh flavor make it easy to savor slowly. Once you have one of these little jars in your hands, there’s no need to rush. Its old-fashioned elegance encourages taking your sweet time.
Look for Oui by Yoplait in the yogurt section of Walmart and enjoy a delicious moment all to yourself.
