Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chopped
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • sea salt optional

Instructions

  1. Combine the pineapple and sugar in a small sauce pan.  Add a small pinch of salt if desired.  Bring to medium low heat and cook until bubbling, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.  Use warm as a topping, or let cool completely and store airtight in the refrigerator to chill.
