Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Heat over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a rapid boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool until warm, but not hot, to serve. To store, let cool to room temperature, then store airtight in the refrigerator.
