Ingredients

  • 15 ounces canned garbanzo beans drained and thoroughly rinsed
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers
  • 1/4 tahini sesame seed paste
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice fresh is best
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional

  • tablespoon Water as needed, added 1 at a time

Instructions

  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a food processor and blend until very smooth, scraping down the sides of the container as needed.
  2. If the hummus is too thick, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until a soft, creamy texture is reached. Cover tightly and refrigerate
