Whip up this easy cheese ball recipe in minutes, using cream cheese, cheddar, and pecans. You'll also get my handy trick for packing up cheese balls to go!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Plastic wrap

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese and shredded sharp cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl. Use a sturdy spoon to stir them together until combined.
  2. Use the back of the spoon to press the mixture together and roll it around the inside of the bowl until it forms a ball. You can use your hands if you need to.
  3. Lay out a piece of plastic wrap and put the chopped pecans in the center. Tip the ball onto the pecans and gently roll it over the pecans until thoroughly coated.
  4. Serve immediately, or cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for later.

Serves 6. Double to serve a larger crowd.
