Chicken Salad with Apples, Cranberries, and Pecans

There’s an long-gone theme park ride that I think of from time to time when I’m working in the kitchen.  In the ride—which portrayed a fanciful trip to the future—there was a scene featuring an anthropomorphic robot in a kitchen.  The robot resembled a walking kettle grill with half a dozen arms.  While sporting a fixed robotic grin, it used its many arms to simultaneously sweep the floor, wash the dishes, cook on the stove, and pour milk for the cat.

(High fives and huzzahs to any reader who can guess the name of the ride.  Leave a comment.)

I think that scene spoke to a secret dream many of us cherish: the dream of having a truly helpful kitchen assistant.  Something that combines a multitude of functions and does all of them well.  A blender, a food processor, and a spiralizer in one convenient system would be a good start.

So when I got a chance to show off my chicken salad-making skills with the Ninja® Intelli-Sense™ Kitchen System with Auto-Spiralizer™, I knew it was going to be love at first blend.  Or process.  Or spiral.

Whatever.

Ninja Intelli-sense Box with to go blender and spiralizer

This sleek device features one smart base that transforms into four high-performance appliances: 72 oz. Total Crushing® Blender, 64 oz. Precision Processor™, 24 oz. Single-Serve Cup, and Auto-Spiralizer.

With Smart Vessel Recognition, it recognizes which vessel is attached to the base and automatically presents a customized menu of Smart Programs on the touchscreen.

The 12 Smart Programs are chef-designed automatic recipe creations that use precisely calibrated patterns of pulsing and pausing—combined with ideal speed, power, and torque—to deliver optimal results every time.  All it takes is a simple tap.

The durable, easy-to-clean Intuitive Touchsceen lets you choose between the Smart Programs and a set of manual options as well.

All that needs to be added in a future model is the ability to sing me a little song when it’s done.  Is that too much to ask?  Don’t answer that.

With all these options, it’s easy to create everything from chicken salad, to smoothies, to pizza dough and spiralized veggies.  You can use my code KATIE15 to receive 15% off your very own Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System with Auto-Spiralizer  – good from now until December 31, 2017.

I’m looking forward to using my Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System with Auto-Spiralizer for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beyond.  Picture this: you use the 64 oz. Precision Processor™ to make a little chicken salad with apples for your brown bag lunch, then blast a smoothie in the 24 oz. Single-Serve Cup for breakfast to go, and then (when you get home) you fire up the Auto-Spiralizer to spiralize some veggies for dinner.

That’s what I call living the dream.
